The quick version
- Flat price by door count, starting at $900. No hourly billing and no surprise invoice.
- Most buildings land in the $1,550 tier (11 to 25 doors).
- Not ready for the full walk? A 5-door Door Risk Snapshot is $450, credited in full if you book within 60 days.
- Already have repair quotes? A Quote Check puts up to 3 side by side for $295.
- We don't sell repairs, so the price you see is the whole job.
Not sure how many doors you have? Tell us about the building and we'll give you a flat price.
Pricing
"Doors" means the egress and fire-rated doors we assess: exits, stairwells, corridors and similar. Not sure what counts in your building? Ask and we'll sort it out before you commit.
What every tier includes
- A photo report with every door scored Pass, At Risk or Fail.
- A Corrective Action Plan that puts the most serious problems first, with installed-cost estimates (materials plus labor) so you know a fair price before anyone quotes.
- A Door Schedule and spreadsheet listing every door and its hardware as found.
- A contractor copy you can hand straight to whoever does the work.
Installed-cost estimates are planning figures, not quotes. Your contractor sets the method and the final price.
Start smaller with a Door Risk Snapshot
Pick the 5 doors that worry you most. We walk them together and you get a one-page summary the same day, with a score and photo for each and what to fix first. It's $450 flat with no travel fee, for buildings with 11 or more doors. Book the full assessment within 60 days and the $450 comes off.
Already have quotes? Get a Quote Check
Your insurer asked for a few doors to be fixed and three companies quoted the work. The quotes look alike, but two quotes for the same opening can be a few hundred dollars apart and decades apart in quality. Most owners can't tell from the paperwork, so they pick the cheapest.
Send us up to 3 quotes, plus the insurer's letter or photos. Within 2 business days you get a one-page side-by-side: what each quote includes and leaves out, hardware grade and fire rating compared apples to apples, red flags, a fair installed-cost range, and the questions to ask each bidder.
We never pick the winner and never talk to bidders on your behalf. You get the facts and the questions; you decide. It's an independent opinion on the quotes you share, not a certification or an inspection by your fire marshal or insurer.
How payment works
A 50% deposit schedules your walkthrough. The balance is due with your report summary, and the full report follows once it's paid.
After the first assessment, you can keep the record current with an annual renewal at a returning-client rate, an annual visit plus a follow-up to confirm fixes were made, or two visits a year with priority scheduling.
Why flat pricing
Because you should know the cost before anyone sets foot in the building. We don't sell hardware or do repairs, so there's nothing to upsell and nothing to gain from finding problems.
We have no reason to pad your door count or fail a borderline door. We don't sell the fix, so a Fail doesn't make us a dime. You get an honest record and a fair idea of what each repair should cost.
